The words "revolutionary" and "tendencies" are too beautiful when placed next to one another. I would love to see a "may cause revolutionary tendencies" warning on something in a shop.

I don't know. I will ignore my anarchist ideals for a moment and think in a strictly logical sense. If I go out and give a whole bunch of kids some guns and they start shooting. Who gets blamed? Case and point. Or better yet if I give some people with A. legitmate problems with the system or B. crazy people, however u look at it. Bombs and say go forth spread your revolution, put them up in a house, drive them where ever they go, and pay for everything? Who gets blamed? This whole case is kinda one big cluster fuck but the simple fact remains.

1. Eric committed no crime. Only conspired to do so. As far as I'm concerned no body no crime. (minority report anyone?)

2. He couldn't have done anything without FBI interrvention. Police are not permitted to blatantly lie, break laws, and coerce to uphold justice. Or at least they shouldn't be. And without the FBI no crime could have been committed. So in a way the FBI plotted to blow up a damn and changed its mind. Its one thing to do survellance but this was so much more.

I still think the point comes down to this:

Eric would not have committed the crime, or conspired to do so, without having ever met Anna.

This song is awesome. Destroying inanimate objects is not violence. There is only so much a peaceful demonstration can accomplish unless it's on a really massive scale. Its scary to see how FBI informants are among us. 1984?

if this was a song credited to Against Me! it would be a top 10 in their discography, it's really that good.

I love the youtube video of this song by about 1000% more then the studio version. So much more raw. just pure passion, real stories, real problems, and just amazing art. And playing it outside the dam they wanted to blow up. It's moments like that, which remind me why I love Gabel. Great stuff.

But I mean you couldn't talk me into blowing up a building/dam, and I hate the establishment as much as the next guy. I realize he was coerced so it was BS but the guy was going to blow something up, just to blow it up? I don't see how he can't not be in prison.

The most upsetting aspect being that one of the convicts only found out that this fucking stool pigeon is in fact not his friend after 24 (!) years. Just imagine this severe personal disappointment.

Fuck the police! Seriously...

So this is not about this case, but I was listening to a story about entrapment today that made me think about this song. It's a pretty interesting story if anyone wants to check it out.
