If you read the article that Tom mentions in the song ("The headline called them The Believers"), the Anna girl calls herself a hawk at one point. She's talking about how she acted as an FBI informant and then says "I'm a hawk," as if she's really sly and sneaky.

I have never heard of this, are there any links?

I know for a fact, if the girl I loved pushed me into doing something radical, as long as I had thought of it before, she'd be more than enough motivation to get me to do something stupid.

After reading a lot of the documents, I've found that they had slept together a couple times, but it was never known whether there was sex or not. She was in with them for about a year and a half I believe. A couple months off here and there though. With e-mail contact.
