*IF* AM! were to break up?

I think that they will never stop taking new directions, they just reached a point where they're super happy, they're making a lot of money, and they have the choice on whether or not they'd like to play a small club or a stadium. What I can see lately is going back to the roots, Tom just went back to Rob McGregor, the guy who recorded the Crime demo and Crime ep, to record his new demo. I'd hope that if they broke up they'd all form new bands, like a Bear Vs. Shark type deal. Maybe Tom, James, Andrew, or Warren would go back and start projects with Kevin or Dustin.

Personally I think this is stupid predicting when and if AM! will break up, we're all over analyzing with guessing how many more albums there will be before they're "Flogging a dead horse." I don't think they'll be AM! when they're 50.

i think its safe to say it wont be for a while atleast...i mean theyre working on a new album so thats gonna take a while and then u know theyre gonna tour when its released so i guess well just have to play it by ear

yeah, god i hope that 08 fall tour includes gaslight anthem

Sounds weird, kid, but shit will change. You'll grow up and alot of stuff will seem not as meanigful, girlfriends become distant memories, and the world you know will be completly diffirent.

This isn't ment to be a downer, more of "What do you think?" thread. Once you get over the fact of them gone, try to work past it and see the potential in the band members.

I still stand resolute Tom would go solo though, James might tag along to produce or contribute here and there, but I think Tommy would make his way.

Yeah, only mods can delete threads so don't act like you have such power. I don't care for this thread much either but it's not to the point that I'd want it deleted. If you don't like the thread to that extent, you don't have to view it.

AM! is past the whole sell out thing just like the Ramones and Greenday got passed it. when you say "before we start contemplating" your talking about you and other disgruntled fans not them. they all love their new stuff as much as their old even if the fans don't agree.

Oh, I'm far from disgruntled. I fucking love their new stuff, don't assume that I don't. All we're doing here is discussing if or when they may or may not break up, and comparing them to other bands in that matter.

I agree with Ross. I'm closing this down, and deleting it in a day or so. It's too negative for a fan forum.
