The Walking Dead (Edit: + other comics!)

This Kirkman masterpiece right here got me into comics. Its about so much more than just zombies. I read all 55 in like 4 days.

Figured I'd post what else I'm reading.

Just picked up Preacher. Its so odd. And 90's. And awesome.



Also picked up a first edition of "The Killing Joke"... its pretty sweet.

PREACHER!!! is the comic that got me into comics. i just read the killing joke, too. it was pretty badass.

i've been in the middle of batman year 1 for a month now, and just started reading the return of superman this week. i'm getting on top of the walking dead at the end of the semester. DON'T RUIN IT!

have you read all of preacher?

I bought the first paperback yesterday... and I'm only about halfway through that. Batman Year One was decent, I liked Dark Knight Returns so much more though.

Have you read Superman: Red Son?

Its pretty freaking good. Its the story of what would have happened if he landed in Russia instead of the Midwest.

i'm with you on that. dark knight returns was fucking killer. and i never heard of red son, but plan on buying that shit ASAP!!!

I have the first graphic nivel i nthe seires, that comic is sooooooooo goood!

walking dead is brilliant, also got me back in to comics after a long break. everytime I think things are gonna calm down in the story or that kirkman's shocked me enough he does something that makes me worry more about the characters. I feel kinda lame that I'm emotionally invested in comic characters but it's so damn good.

I love V for Vendetta.
