so i was just listening to a radio station, driving along, teenage anarchist is playing.

instead of hearing "the revolution was a lie" i hear "the revolution left me blind"

what is so offensive about the first set of lyrics that they used the latter...

Blame Canada. I heard it on the radio once here but I didn't notice if they changed it.

the first time on the radio I heard the edited version, ever since, I've heard the original.

The one time I heard it on the radio I was far too drunk to notice any difference.

I don't know though, maybe Canadian radio stations are secretly planning a coup d'état and are trying to avoid discouraging potential young revolutionaries. Those Anarcho DJs sure are mysterious.
