I've slipped for about a year though, due to getting a laptop which is now my procrastination tool. I still look forward to a bunch of games though.

I play a whole lot of PES. Just picked up PES 2011. After that, I'm just a casual gamer.

Just got Fallout New Vegas yesterday, I've played it 7 hours today so far and I'm about to play it some more. Sex can go fuck itself.

"Paying to play online" with a 360 @ £40 per annum is hardly expensive compared to how much you pay to simply connect to the internet per annum (and read this crap)... Especially compared to the cost of playing a single MMO for a year on the PC, or the cost of hardware (consoles and PCs alike), etc etc. I'd love a PS3 but when everyone in my area seems to have a 360 it'd be a waste of time to buy a PS3 for online play because I'd have no-one to play with!

Also I fucking love computer games. Just been re-completing MGS2 on the PS2 and I'm about to move onto MGS3 for the first time (never did get around to it 7 years ago). That's when I'll have to buy a PS3 for MGS4 :/

Meh. You don't need to have friends with a PS3 to play online. I play all the time with no one I know and have a blast talking to them. I'm sick of console wars. Both are great. I chose PS3 simply for god of war. I got New Vegas on it's release date. I've had no problems with it at all. Have you guys? I'm hearing alot of shit about it but I'm going great with it. Actually.. I'm gonna go play it some more right now.

Just finished Halo: Reach campaign (finally, fucking Legendary), onto Far Cry 2.

I can't play video games if my life depended on it... the other day I was playing NHL 10 on xbox with some friends, and I got yelled at, a lot.

It's just more fun to play with friends. Plus, many gamers are total arseholes so online play on my own gets tiresome after a while.

I've wasted so much precious life on New Vegas. About 20 hours in, still haven't bothered going to the strip yet, too much exploring to be done.

Agreed, but based on its effect on me at the time, and subsequent nostalgia, GTA III wins over San Andreas.

I've always wanted to be black and I will always love San Andreas for making my dream come true.

-Fog Hat on the radio

-Taking your girlfriend out in the middle of the Las Venturas desert and shooting her execution style in the head

NEW VEGAS IS INCREDIBLE.

I mean, Fallout 3 was obviously better in my opinion, since the shock of stepping out of the vault into a destroyed, wide open, torn apart wasteland was incredible. Not to mention beautiful green Virginia and DC being turned into a desert-fucked crater. The Mojave on its own is a desert, so no big shock there.

I look at the time and if I have less than an hour to play NV it's not worth it. I need at least 2. Me and my friends have given up on everything pretty much to play this game. Fallout is so fucking time consuming. At least my girlfriend is cool with it, she knows what's up ahah.
