Streetlight Manifesto

i've seen them do an impromptu cover of smells like teen spirit, that was a lot of fun. and they've been covering linoleum on this tour.

Among other things:
"Jim, our tenor saxist and main secondary vocalist, realized the facial infection he was nursing was too serious to ignore any longer. In Pensacola, FL a week back, a kid jumped up on stage and hit his mic, which in turn slammed Jim's sax into his mouth. Somehow, the wound got infected on his gum, which ballooned half his face up with swelling the size of a grapefruit. Despite a round of antibiotics, it got worse, to the point where half of his face was practically paralyzed by the time we reached Detroit. He immediately went to the hospital, where we learned it was serious (they put him on morphine immediately) and he had to stay for surgery to remove a tooth and drain the abscess. We had to leave him in the hospital for a few days and, unfortunately, continue the tour without him."

jesus christ, when i saw them, tom mentioned that he was singing linoleum despite his tooth ache. wow i feel so bad for him.

Holy shit, that sounds so painful I hope he heals quickly.

I saw them in November of 07 with the Suburban Legends and Dan Potthast, and then again like 2 weeks ago with Zox and Dan Potthast, both at the State Theatre in St Pete.

I do believe both times I saw them, my ears came.

I can't stop listening to this band lately. I want to see them live again

I only got into them after their latest album, which is fucking immense.

i saw streetlight last night and it was amazingggg...their sax player still isnt back tho...they covered NOFX which was awesome and BOTAR, and Catch 22 like usual...it was a good time

Woo, awesome. I wanna see them again, I downloaded a bootleg from a London show and it's amazing.

I'm going to apologize before I say this, I really don't like Streetlight or any of the fourth wave bands, every single one of their songs sound a lot alike. I especially hate reel big fish, but don't take any of this in a bad way, it's just my opinion, I'm not trying to be a dick.
