| So I was kind of wondering if Streetlight had forgotten that the internet exists, but they finally updated their site yesterday, for anyone who isn't creepy and checks it every week like me. New layout and everything. And a snazzy new picture of everyone looking very serious XD | |

| just got back a little while ago from seeing them. would've been an amazing show if the crowd wasn't so terrible. the venue (culture room in ft. lauderdale) put some red bulls out for them and tomas kept talking about how they don't drink red bull because it tastes like rancid piss (which it does), and about how they don't, and never will, accept major corporate sponsorship. every time he took a sip of water he'd run to the mic and say something like "MMMM TASTE-Y! AND IT'S FREE!"
anyway, they were amazing, as usual. though no "everything went numb" or "point/counterpoint/keasbey nights". they more than made up with it with some botar and "dear sergio:"...it's just that south florida crowds are so unbelievably terrible; every time i'd get a decent little circle pit going, it would just collapse and turn into a full on mosh pit, which is why i've decided to revive my old crew: the coalition against moshing at ska shows (CAMASS)...anyone want in?

| When I saw them last month they played mostly Somewhere... tracks, but definitely played Everything Went Numb and Dear Sergio. Right before their encore we tried to get them to play Point/Counterpoint by singing the entire thing but they didn't budge. | |

| yeah every time i've seen them prior to tonight, they've played both of those, so i was a tad disappointed, but "dear sergio:" more than made up for it, as did the two botar songs they played. speaking of botar, i wish he'd fucking finish those two albums he's doing with them before he dies. | |

| So kudos to Tomas for his stance there (seriously. he has the logo on his guitar covered up. it makes me glad and I quite agree with him.) However I must say that I think Red Bull is good and not at all like rancid piss, thanks. I just almost never drink it cause it's expensive.
edit: I just realized I randomly did not capitalize all of the right letters. Silly.

| When I had a radio show at my university, these guys came in and gave me a bunch of free Red Bulls. I think the idea was that I would mention it on the air. So I tell them to hang out, and launch into a ten minute tirade about how Red Bull tastes like asshole and cherries, and how it must feel to have to go around and pretend that you're hip to talk to college kids about Red Bull so that they'll go and buy a four pack for 10$. And on and on and on.
It was a great radio moment. And we never got free stuff ever again.

| I can't stop listeninggg. I'm sad that they said they won't be touring for quite a bit. I have yet to experience a true Streetlight show but it seems like it would be awesome. Although when I saw them they did play 'That'll Be the Day' and I love that song. | |

I heard an mp3 of them doing Creep, it was so cool. They didn't cover anything interesting/unexpected either of the times I saw them, but they did play two BOTAR songs, which was awesome.
