This is certainly strange. But it's not too expensive and it should be interesting to see The Cult. All I can recall of them off the top of my head is that song Fire Woman.

the SF show is a day after my college graduation and I would love to see Against Me! as my first concert as a college graduate but jesus 40bucks is insane... specially considering that I have never listened to the Cult.

Ah, I saw 29 dollar tickets. Forgot the convenience fee that rounds it out to 35. I may go, but not too sure yet.

They played a one off tonight and it was great. A lot of songs, old ones, new ones, I don't remember it all off the top of my head. And during the encore they played Androgynous by Replacements. It sounded fucking great full band and was totally fitting. Love the Replacements covers from AM!
It was an awesome show and afterwords my buddy and I just stuck around the bar to have a couple more drinks and Andrew and James both came out and talked to us for a bit about hockey (I had my Bruins shirt on ) and just bullshitted for a while. Andrew decided to call me coach all night because I called him Seward the first time and he said that it sounds like something his coach would do when he was little. They are funny guys, it was a great night.

I've read reviews and they've been playing around six new songs. They've been finishing with Impact. Also, they've covered another Replacements song, Androgynous.

Wait, you mean my favorite band is playing one of my other favorite (yes, they're both #1) band's best songs? Kill me. I should go to this. But I cannot.

Funny that they for whatever reason played all 5 new songs in the set in a row at the end of the main set. Still a totally awesome setlist though.
