How is there no thread for Alkaline Trio already?

Unless there is and I'm a moron. Hmm. In any event, love 'em? Hate 'em? Let's hear it.

Personally I love them and have since first hearing Keep 'Em Coming back in highschool. They're probably one of my top 3 favorite bands. Crimson took effort to actually enjoy, but even though it's their weakest album ever, it has some good songs. Right? Goddamnit is by far the best. Favorite song (overall) is If You Had A Bad Time, then probably Cringe and Bleeder.

If you're in the area, you should go. Because A) Heather's art work is consistently amazing, B) Dead to Me is playing, and C) There is no way Skiba's artwork is anything less than hilarious.

This is soo weird. I was sitting at work and I was like I should start an Alk3 thread but my phone wouldn't load the website, hahah.

WHAT THE FUCK. Dead to Me is playing I'm not 21 thoughhh rahhh. Alright I'll shut up and actually talk about the band now. I love Alkaline Trio, I've listened for a while but just recently got pretty into them the last few years. At a benefit show I went to last year Matt came out and sang Astro Zombies and I freaked out.

I could totally pass for 21 though, I should be like ohh I lost my ID I am SO SORRY. But I wouldn't want to drive that far and have them be like NO, get the fuck out.

Yeah apparently at one of Heather's shows in Chicago, it was really hot and Matt was wasted and took his shirt off. Shirts off, Skiba! We were talking about that incident with Brendan Kelly in November haha. He kept referring to him as Matthew and I don't know why but it was hilarious.
Who are you seeing Dead to Me with then? Aren't they touring with Teenage Bottlerocket before they go out with the Souls? I would drink bleach to see Bottlerocket. BAH. Have fun.

Oh and my favorite Alkaline Trio song is Radio. I play it all the time on guitar, really badly, but I've gotten over that fact.

lol, I know I have a tiny, quiet, lame voice but oh man it is my favorite song ever.

I freakin love Alk3. Reminds me of my first year at uni, all I did throughout winter semester was listen to Maybe I'll Catch Fire whilst trying not to cry constantly. Yeah, soundtrack of the shittiest period of my life, but I love them cos they got me through it. Them and the Lawrence Arms.

I'm in the Blood Pact but I suck really hard at message boards and forums, as I'm sure I've made obvious here. It was really awesome when they had the videos every week or so though.

at the cleveland warped tour last year, a freak storm literally destroyed the fair grounds. we were moving our van to load up our shit, and matt walked right in front of it without even looking. i cursed him out, and then was like.. oh hey matt.

...and as much as i love love love ALK3...HWM does radio and bleeder better than ALK3.
