all of this at a Hot Topic, which surprised the crap out of me.

all my hot topic has is brokencyde and all time low....
they have one vinyl, the decemberists.

That is what mine has to, and no vinyl at all. All of that I got at Myrtle Beach. They had Bad Religion, Dear Landlord, Sublime, Ruiner, LTJ. I was in Heaven!

i doubt anyone at my hot topic has even heard of dear landlord...we have a completely metal scene. it sucks so bad. the only bands that exist according to them are brokencyde, eminem, impending doom, paramore, or icp...

At mine there are only 10 cd's. Most of them are A Day To Remember or Silverstein. Our music scene here sucks.

when i talked to mike sweeting over at no idea, he said hot topic often carries no idea vinyls as well. can't say i've stepped foot in once since i grew armpit hair, though.

i have ventured into hot topic a few times to browse their vinyl and usually always leave with something i like.

picked up the revellions... pretty cool!
they're the kinda band that you just capture in a recording!
(i know thats most bands but these are just electric the recording does them no justice)

Has anyone ordered Rivethead's Cheap Wine 12'' through No Idea and got it yet? They told me on Tuesday they were still waiting for them to come in.

Yeah, last time I was over I checked it out on the off chance, I picked up wo HWM 12"s, a BTMI 12" (for FOUR DOLLARS, you'd never get that here) and an OWTH 12" and an AJJ 10" in one sweep. There were a couple others too I think, but I was pretty impressed with what they had.

Well you pulled off that paragraph with excellent spelling, grammar and punctuation. So evidently, you don't use abbreviation as a form of time saving. You abbreviate purely for satisfaction!

I'm using "recent" as "what I've bought in the last two months." I got the first 5 the day they came out, or earlier. Now I'm waiting for my new Lawrence Arms 7" to arrive from Fat. It should be colored, I ordered an hour after it went up.
