My miniature lab Barkley. He's actually half basset hound/half black lab, but he just looks like a really short black lab. He's the best.

my dog frankie is in the against me article in the new alt press. he's not doing so hot tho... poor thing's back legs have no sensation in them now, and he can barely walk

Aww, poor baby I've seen dogs that have little wheels on their back legs, so sad.

yeah we got him three years ago, he was already crippled (he has rods in both his back legs) and was forced to live outside as a gaurd dog at a nursery... it took me like a week to get all the tar, and pine sap out of his fur. since we've had him he put on 15lbs(because now he actually gets fed), and is walking alot better (arthritis meds). Despite it all hes soo super friendly. My friend who runs a rescue might be building me wheels for frank... but i don't know if i want to stress him like that seeing as he's pretty content to just sleep on the couch all day.
Pits really have a bad rap.. they're the best dogs ever.

my other two are twin lab/chow mixes (so they're super hyper, and super aggressive) we got from new orleans.. and they're just nutcases. i finally got the male to be more social.. but i think the female is a lost cause.. they were both abused/neglected, and she still remembers it.

Yea, I know in certain states when they find stray Pit Bulls they have to automatically put them to sleep Doesn't seem fair. I watch that Animal Cops show a lot, it's ridiculous to see how some people treat their animals.

this is buddy. hes a beagle/german shepard mix and he is in love with everything. hes my chubby little baby.

Also, I loved Charles Nelson Reilly (RIP). So him being on The X Files was fantastic.

Ok, actually, it's not that good of a picture... but he's a rottweiler/lab X with possibly some chow. He's a great dog, energetic and LOVES fetch. =D He and my snake are the only companions I'll ever need.


QUETZLCOATL - THE FEATHERED SNAKE GOD!
He's not really feathered. This is my corn snake. I keep him at Steve's and thus usually say "our" snake. He's awesome and chill. He's wrapped around a mouse AND Syphilis Steve's finger here.

haha, I just got done learning about Quetzlcoatl.

Snakes are badass but I'd feel sad feeding it mice. I used to have a pet tarantula named Muffin, she was awesome. I would feed her live crickets though, and I always felt kind of bad seeing her sneak up on them, so I would never watch.

Yeah, the first time we ever fed him we were a bit down. The pinkie was squeaking for its life! But you get used to it. Not that I take any kind of positive feeling from feeding it live mice. But we continue to feed him live food because we're not too sure how he'd react to being fed ones that are already dead. He might not want to consume it as he's used to live food, now. And we always set up the environment like he's hunting. We'll put the mouse on the table and then put the snake down and let him find it.

Soon as I get home I'm putting up a pic of my dog, hells yeah. He's chubby, it's funny.

Chubby animals are the best ^__^

aw man i've always wanted a hedgehog. that's not to diss the horse, but when i was little, i was obsessed with sonic the hedgehog and have wanted one ever since.

That hedgehog is the cutest thing everrrr, I want one so bad! & your horse is absolutely beautiful. You have awesome pets.

ive wanted a hedgehog for years. but my mom keeps saying they are a hassle to take care of. i dont know wheres shes getting her info from.

Haha, Emo is insanely easy. He is a little boring, because he sleeps all day... but you know, it's the same with all rodents.
But yeah, he's great. He like doesn't smell or anything, which is nice...
