| From what I understand NASA isn't shutting down they're just not going to be sending people into space.
But that's not first hand information, so I could be wrong. Everywhere you go in Clear Lake/League City/Kemah area now there are signs that say "Save NASA, stop Obama"....which is funny because these are the same people that don't want Obama to spend money and are really worried about the deficit. Not that I'm saying he should cut NASA shit, its just sort of like...lolz.

| But Space is just a whole other level, it's out of this world (HA.)
And yeah, I think Obama cancelled manned missions to the Moon and MARS :'(

| See, I stopped listening when everything started getting confusing about what was happening to NASA and got cautght on the fact that we would never hear "Houston, we have a problem" in an attempt to realistic. The funny thing is, that NASA is a fairly easy cut. With everyone wanting to lower the nat. debt almost anyone would go, huh, this is an expensive program for knowledge, lets cut it a little or a lot. I'm just concerned about the new satalite, I forget the name of the old one that's been up there for ages and I have a soft spot for it in my heart, but we can the expectations of what it can do... if we're not going into space WHO is going to put it up there and perform the maintenance. It bums me. | |

| Also, I think they're looking more into private investing for space programs, now. I don't know a lot about it, but my brother is huge into space and all that, and knows all about what's going on. | |

| Without Jupiter, Earth wouldn't be able to support life! I saw this youtube video that said that Jupiter practically sucks in all the giant asteroids that could potentially hit the smaller planets. | |

| space is just so cool. I like the comparisons of Earth to other planets, and we see how small we are, then those planets to the sun, then the sun to other suns etc.
We are so tiny... It's like we don't even exist.
