I don't know about you guys, but I was getting fond of "...you were the girl I used to love". Though "...my name tattooed into your skin" is also catchy, I kinda prefer the former.

if i had written the song I would have used my name tattooed... until the end when tom says "your name tattoed on my skin" thats where I would have used "girl I used to love". I just think it would been so awesome there

Favourite verse in the song.

I'm guessing the whole tattoo thing leaves the song open to interpretation, which I know is what Tom is all about, lyrically. Also, it seems a little more mature and permanent. I much prefer the new version. Especially the change to 'With your name tattooed into my skin' =)

Also, the 'dingy' instruments in the background in the chorus, with the piano, just make this song perfect.
