What, exactly is this?

That happened on the day our queen retired and her eldest son became king. It was a day full of celebrations and such. In the evening the new king and his family got on a boat and sailed through the Amsterdam channels where they stopped every now and then because there were acts, people singing and such. When they came to this bit (Armin van Buuren and an orchestra playing), they broke the protocol and got off the boat, got on stage and said hello to everyone.

This afternoon we had a bit of rain. And by "a bit" I mean more than we usually get in a month. This is how we deal with it:

But you guys acted when there was an actual bear present. The nearest wolves, from a Dutch perspective, are in eastern Germany, near the Polish border.

It's always good to be prepared. By the way, what are your plans for the rising sea level? That might be more important than wolves.

Another thing: Last week I was on my way to Belgium and I took the route from Venlo to Eindhoven and then on the A67 to Belgium. Around Eindhoven I found a Dutch radio station that played horrible German Schlager music. It was so horrible that I had to sing along. Since I had to stay on A67 I continuted driving on the left lane south of Eindhoven. Suddenly, however, I realized that I was taking the A2 to the North and then I had to go all the way around Eindhoven to return to A67. My question is now, why the hell does staying on the left and middle lane makes you go right and staying on the right lane leads you straight on? That's so counterintuitive! (And it had nothing to do with me being distracted by Schlager music.)
