I had the same issue, I almost freaked out and messaged Lex on Myspace about it, but I waited and it came back. So what's the deal Lex? What's wrong with our forum.

Its an issue with renewing the domain name. It expired, I renewed it, but for some reason I guess not soon enough. I have to talk to someone at go daddy and that won't happen until Monday. So hopefully the word will spread about using this URL for now.

This was the godaddy commercial for the 2008 super bowl, that ended up being played only on the internet:
Sorry for the confusion, I figured everyone knew about this one.

I think the reason I didnt get the email was because I had the "Dont allow members to contact me via email" box checked for some reason.

Got it. In my preferences it says forum members can't contact me by email, but that admin can send newsletters, so I guess that's why it worked this time? Thanks Lex.

Wait, so I just read the Myspace bulletin. GoDaddy bought the forum domain name out from under you? WTF.

I haven't gotten either message - my settings are: Yes to email by website form Yes to newsletters No for "Warn me of PM from PM mailing"
Lex, can you make a global change to all profiles to allow forwarding of admin messages? By the time we figure out the clue for making e-mail work the regular domain name hopefully will be fixed. :-)

They never informed me that it was expiring, I mean I should have known on my own...but I just got busy I guess. So I realized the site wasn't working, so I was like oh I gotta renew it. It had been inactive for an hour and Go Daddy took it, what a bunch of shiesters huh? But on my admin page it says 'domain renewal in process' so apparently it's just taking a while. I emailed Go Daddy, but they haven't gotten back to me yet. I'm not sure if I can change everyone's settings, but I'll look into it. But you're right, probably right when I figure it out...the old domain will be up and running.
