Hello my name is Felicia and I was introduced to Against Me! through New Wave. Since then I have purchased everything else and am completely hooked. I've never heard anything that I've connected with so much. The lyrics cut deep and are ingrained, while the music chokes my spine and rattles my body from the inside. My head, heart, and soul love what Against Me! offers, as well as solo Tom Gabel. I saw them live a few months ago in Minneapolis. Hello to all my new friends, I hope to be part of the community. Sweet! Were you in the pit falling down like everyone else or were you standing in the back? I was just on the side of the pit, just close enough to get bruised by a few people. I've lived here a year now and it is pretty sweet. You should come to a show of mine sometime! I'll be headlining the corner bar Dec. 6th. The show is in the basement and it rocks. Everyone we know will be there. And now I know you! I'll make them play AM! when I walk onstage Very Happy

I was pushed around quite a bit due to my high center of gravity and scrawny arms, but mostly I was in the front on the side of the pit. Some drunk guys had more leverage than me and I was fighting them for a while.

As for the 6th, are you by yourself or in a band? Any recordings I could listen to, myspace page? I love local music, so I'll almost definitely be there.

Actually it's stand up comedy. I've been doing it for 6 years now and I think I'm pretty funny. The only clips I have online right now are open mics when I'm just trying stuff out. It's not like what I do on a paid show, but I guess it gives people a glimpse of who I am. Here's the link:
