8 Full Hours of Sleep

I'm pretty sure that's the same song at a different pitch. The moog is there, the xylophone is there--it all sounds the same. I've heard those recordings before. Tom's voice was higher years ago, but not that high.

3 years later..... someone likes comes up with a new meaning.

To me this song is about when someone you know, losses his /her most important person

___t's quite common in classic literature the idea about how we all humans loose our classes, nationalities or even hunger, and course possessions, properties when we die___

___someone's praying up above because someone's "sleeping" a night that could last forever___
And one night can last forever,
___the idea about the infinite night___
And if you asked her,
She'd never let go,
And you'd stay forever...
__of course she wouldn't let him/her go___
And the sun's always rising
In the sky somewhere,
___the sun always sets, every morning, is again another metaphor about we can rise again despite big looses__
And if young hearts should explode
From all the lies they've been told
___here cant say a thing :S___
Let the new night bring you peace
___quite obvious the NEW night, rest in peace my friend ___

What do you all think about? perhaps i came up with this meaning because i felt it....

"Because of the shame", and of course "total clarity" are about the same feeling, I guess.....

It's strange, recently i listened to some acoustic / demo-like stuff on grooveshark, and you find there a lot of this acoustic things with a .."strange pitch". But now i'm not so sure anymore if it's not just his ... young (?!) voice or smth.
Still sounds strange to me..

It's one of my favs to play on guitar. I don't have trouble with it at all. It just takes a bit of practice. You'll get 'er.
