| Went to see them with the Flatliners last night. Opening band on a wednesday night, so the venue was practically empty, but they put on a good show. Not sure if they usually play it live, but they closed with Cobracoustic, which was pretty rad, definitely the highlight of the set for me. | |

Ya they were, and they were really good too, actually. Way better than their albums, a lot less poppy and more punk rock. Plus their drummer was rocking a pretty legendary beard.

p.s. musicians are people usually really boring people yea, I'm sure they do, it's just that I can't get into most venues, cause I'm not 18, so I'm missing out on tons of cool bands.

| These guys are touring again in November. Super stoked. I'm not gonna be putting them in a derelict office building with the ceiling tiles on the verge of falling down. Studio Broadway this time, with lots of love. I can hardly wait. PLUS NEW EP! | |

| Read an interview where he says he's hoping it to be out in October. They're recording it on Fat Wreck.
Here's the interview with Devin: http://www.distortedmagazine.com/features/cobra-skulls-your-next-favourite-band

| Cobra Skulls are working with Fat Mike at Motor Studios in San Francisco for an upcoming Fall EP and you can read a run down from Devin by visiting their MySpace page. We haven’t sussed out exactly when it will be released but we’ll announce it soon. | |

| This is how I've been promoting the Cobra Skulls / Dead to Me show: Let me tell ya, sandwich board advertising is the best way to advertise ever. I got cat calls from girls in passing cars; when I went into Brickyard Pizza (where I enjoyed that beer) it was like an old western movie where a guy walks into a saloon, everyone stops and looks at him for a silent minute and then carry on talking. That's seriously what happened. Awesome. Along with hand-drawn flyers. One, Two, SIX... | |
