Don't know if this should be in spam or in here, but...

for extra credit, my chem professor wants us to find a snack that isn't organic, is not a fruit or veggie, and does not contain any artificial ingredients. it should require no work to eat (no cooking, microwaving, etc), and it has to be store bought..help?

There's a lot of things in the natural foods section that aren't organic but are all natural. I think the Frito-Lay stuff that's marked "Natural" isn't organic, that might help you.

But they are really expensive. In fact, my wife and I stopped eating snack foods and all we eat are roasted sunflower seeds, as they are the cheapest things available.

Also, this is kind of a silly question. What is it supposed to prove? Why no fruit or veg? A good apple is the best snack in the entire world.

...Also, I think alcohol fills all the requirements as well. Whiskey is a snack food. Anyone who says different is boring.

Whiskey does make day-to-day life more interesting when used as a snack, I'll give you that.
