| I keep thinking I'll never really care to see AM! live again but then they keep bringing really good bands with them on tour (last time was in 2011 with Screaming Females and Lemuria). I might have to take a day off work and head to Asheville for this since I missed them when they just came to Virginia. | |

| Set list for the Edmonton Show. May be missing a song or two and it's not in order:
FuckMyLife666, New Wave, Teenage Anarchist, Don't Lose Touch, Dead Friend, Unconditional Love, Thrash Unreal, True Trans Soul Rebel, Americans Abroad, Drinking With The Jocks, Transgender Dysphoria Blues, Black Me Out, and most importantly they played these old songs:
Pretty Girls, Miami, The Ocean, Joy, Sink Florida Sink, Cliché Guevara, Turn Those Clapping Hands Into Angry Balled Fists, I Still Love You Julie, Pints of Guinness, Walking Is Still Honest, and We Laugh At Danger and Break All The Rules.
I seriously can't believe they played some of these songs. Also some fuckstick who was pushing people in the pit got his nose busted open. There was blood all over the floor and Laura played Joy while the staff mopped it up.

| Aren't those pretty much the same songs they've been playing for a while now? Sans maybe I still love you Julie? | |

Ya it was pretty well the same set list as Seattle two nights before. Seattle got Borne on the FM Waves with Laura Stevenson doing Tegan's part and we got Joy instead.

| I'd never been to Durty's before, but yea... the bar service was terrible. But it was nice that if you went to the lower part it wasn't super crowded. | |

| My first time there too. I liked it... everything except the bar. Waited 22 minutes for a fucking beer. At least it was cheap ($9 for a pitcher). They definitely should have built the bar along the east wall, and had more than 3 bartenders on staff for a sold out show. | |

Took about the same for me, as a Chicagoan I was amazed a pitcher was only 9 bucks. It'd be double that around here. I also thought the crowd kind of sucked. No one seemed to know any of the non TDDB blues songs, which is fine... but it seemed pretty subdued. Easily the least energetic AM show I've been to.

| I have rheumatoid arthritis, which was pretty inflamed yesterday, so I spent most of my time along the back wall. I didn't pay attention to the crowd, because I don't give a shit about them (Ha!). But the band seemed to be very energetic and seemed happy. I do give a shit about that.
Back to the bar... when we were waiting to order, I assumed a pitcher would be like $20... I was very shocked when it was only $9. Isn't a single beer at Metro around $8 now? The only other place (off of the top of my head) that has a decent priced beer is The Beat Kitchen (I think it's like $3 for a PBR tallboy... shitty beer, but at least it's a decent price for a venue).

The metro has the little one person "bar" off to the left where they sell 2 different(smaller) beers for 5$ (Amstel and Heineken), so bargain.

| I'd kill for a three dollar PBR at any venue in the Seattle area. The cheapest I have seen in years was 6 bucks for a Busch Light. | |
