Warped Tour 2010

Anyone going? I'm still debating it. One one hand, there's the emo/scene/metal kids and bands, the 2.5 hour drive, and the $50 ticket price. On the other hand, I'd very much like to see the Bouncing Souls, Alk Trio, and Fake Problems

It's worth going and making the best of it. When you get home, you're happy that you won't have to see those kind of people again and you can appreciate your friends, and be stoked that you saw good bands. It sucks having to pay $5, I think it's a human right to bring your own water to an outdoor event in the summer time...

Face to Face. The single reason I am going. I have seen all the other bands there, and wouldn't mind seeing them again, but FACE TO FACE will be there. That should be enough for anyone.

Warped Tour has been coming to Calgary for the longest time. I never really wanted to go until this year, but then it gets relocated... I'm debating whether to drive up to Edmonton. I'm also stuck in your situation.

I've been to Warped Tour so many times, I've needed a couple years off to recover. I might go this year though, it's something to do and I wanna see Fake Problems.

Anti-Flag, the Dropkicks, Pennywise, and Reel Big Fish aren't playing my date. That's the Toronto show, we get the worst line-up and the highest ticket prices.

None of the good bands ever want to come to Houston for some stupid reason.
(maybe the insane heat and terrible air quality and shitty venue they moved it to...)

I went to the kick off party last night, if it's any sign of how Warped Tour will be ....it was terrible. Pierce the Veil? Fuckin pierce my eardrum. Andrew WK was amazing though, I smiled for his whole set. I love that man!!

I realized I hadn't actually heard most of the bands on Warped this year, so I tried listening to some of the ones I hadn't heard before. They are literally all brutal. You can basically classify them as either 1) illegible roaring (see Whitechapel) or 2) super poppy, dancey emo (see Breathe Electric). I figure I can make a solid day out of The Bouncing Souls, Alkaline Trio, Face to Face, Fake Problems, Polar Bear Club, Riverboat Gamblers, The Flatliners, and The Swellers though. As long as I go with the right people.

Face to Face would be the only thing worth going for, but I think I'm just too old and white to subject myself to a torturous day, especially in Phoenix, I blisted the bottoms of my feet in 2008, I'm done
