| I love the Bronx. I saw them play Leeds Festival in 2004 (I think) and they were awesome. In the middle of the set Matt stopped and asked if anyone had any questions. One guy asked if they were a white power band and he replied, completely deadpan, "No, we are not a white power band." The way he said it was just as though he was saying "what a retarded question that was, you meff." Both their albums are top notch and by the sounds of it, the new one is going to equally awesome. A double release, with one side a punk album called The Bronx (again) and the other a mariachi record called El Bronx. If you don't like the Bronx, I suggest you take a long hard look at yourself. | |

| I always used to put on the first record at school in the common room, people would look confused about why it was so quiet and turn it up. Then it would really begin.
I'm not sure I like the second record so much. I mean I do, but I have a love for the first album that's pretty hard to compete with. I felt like there was a lot of filler on the second. | |

| They're just a hard fuckin rock band. They have a bit of a hardcore influence, and a bit of a metal riffage edge sometimes, but they're just loud motherfuckers. Old school influenced, heavy shit. Check out "Heart Attack American" if you can. That's the first song I heard. | |

| If you're looking for individual tracks, I would go with False Alarm, History's Stranglers, Cobra Lucha. But the entire first album is bomb, in my opinion. | |

| I have to admit, they're probably the best, and certainly the most intense band I've seen live. I hope they tour their asses off for the new albums. | |

| I saw them at Emo's on July 4th. Tom, Andrew W.K., and O Pioneers!!! were outside and The Bronx played inside with El Bronx! That had to be one of the most amazing days I've ever even dreamed of having. | |

| Sorry, I've been calling it white drugs since I got it, because it has white drugs written on the disk. Easier than "The first Bronx album". | |
