am moving out

and fuck yeah, egypt. when my parents lived in israel they went to egypt all the time. unfortunately, i'd only just been conceived, so i never go to go.

Egypts cool. You would deff have to learn the language.

you can go anywhere and not learn the language these days...well, almost anywhere. i went to costa rica and i had no problem communicating. my friend went to brussels and had no problem either.

and i don't think AM! tours that part of the world. but I guess you can't base your life around a band

haha, yeah I didn't think about that. Not many bands tour Egypt....but all my family is in California so I would just come over to visit and go to shows.

English is important so alot of ppl speak it especially touristy areas. I think if your going to live somewhere you need to know the language

Yesterday I was thinking it would be cool to move to Ireland, but it's pretty hard to get citizenship. I'm gonna look into my biological family history...maybe I'm Irish and I just don't know it. Someday I gotta get to Ireland, even if it's just going for a week.

It's not too expensive, I found a roundtrip ticket for like $400. I may do it soon. I'm sick of going to school non stop.

Oh my god, I've always wanted to to Ireland soooooooooo bad. That and Australia/New Zealand....sorry, I was gone for the part where we all talked about where we wanted to go.

Well visiting first, then moving. I'm not sure which place is harder to get citizenship...Ireland lets you have dual. I wouldn't want to give up my US citizenship, my mom would cry.

I agree with this 100%. All of the places that I've been/want to go are pretty random places that I just feel drawn to. You don't need a better reason than that!
Personally, I had a lot of trouble being a relatively small girl in Egypt. They have "tourist police" that are supposed to protect you, but it doesn't help when they're the ones manhandling you. I knew a few words of Arabic (mostly used "no, thank you" and things like that), but everyone in touristy areas speaks English. Definitely not the place for me, but you should just save up some money, suck it up and go. The older and more settled you get, the harder it is.

moneys the only issue. thats why i wanna do this Thailand thing b/c i can go over there with a few dollars and be a millionaire. if i were half German i probably wouldn't do it.

Yeah, SE Asia is awesome like that. You can live for a week on $10, you just have to be able to afford a plane ticket. You should look into teaching English in Thailand, they'd give you some money.

Right now the dollar is .77 Euros. I think that's better than it's been in the past few years...

Yeah, after my first day I didn't go out without a guy by my side. Then you just have to deal with them considering trading you as a wife to a local in exchange for a number of camels. It's funny, but it happens a LOT.

Do you like it there? It seems like it would be hard going to school and learning new things on top of a whole new culture.
