Ii had a smoke and taught about it and lessined to london calling and how it was probly the best album of all time ....... most "pop" albums in the looses sence of the word owe alot to this album and the clash....... the clash ones in a life time band im glad to say i got to meet mick jones..................

| Joe Strummer is my hero
Global Agogo and Streetcore are also two of my favorites, besides all the stuff written by the Clash

| in all honesty, the only of his stuff i know is the Clash. i own all their records, but nothing from after they disbanded.
any suggestions as to what i should look into? Joe's stuff, as well as Mick's.

| definately go joe strummer before mick, just my opinion, but joe's solo material is by far way better than all the stuff mick did. the good the bad and the queen has the clash bass player in it, they have some not bad stuff. | |

this isn't directly related with this quote, because i'm in complete agree: i love joe's solo stuff. but mick always gets the short end of the stick IMO. without mick, joe strummer would have been a nobody.
