Exhaustion/Are You Really Listening

why was this never actually released?

i remember hearing it on WNGH and loving it. then getting the audio tracks for the DVD and loving it. and then i just stumbled across a copy of the "stolen demo" my friend had on his itunes, and it was on there.

i really love this song. is there any reason it was on the demo and then not on SFAFC?

I really wish this song and Ed is Sexy (or Clap Clap, or A Reason to Stay Strong) were released in some official form. I think they're some of the strongest songs on the demo.

i don't think they officially released it, i think the people who made the comp CD just kinda used the songs

i just remeber seeing it on their wikipedia and then looking the CD up, mark already posted the link

There's an interview with Tom out there somewhere where he talks about this, and he mentions the CD comp. and says that they didn't really send in that song to be a part of the compilation. He also says that it was annoying when people would request "Exhaustion" at shows because he never wrote a song called "Exhaustion," it was just a song the fans named themselves.

this is also one of my favorite songs, they are both so damn good. I wish it was officially released but not sure thats gonna happen

that is what it's titled in We're Never Going Home, though, ain't it? i gave my copy to my girlfriend. i don't remember.

Yaya I'm almost sure I remember it to be named Exhaustion in the DVD. I'll check tomorrow.

yes, it is called exhaustion on the dvd.

I'll try and find the interview for you guys, he may have referred to it as "Take Aim," not Exhaustion.

on my dvd it's called: new song...

its called new song on the dvd..and on hte dvd audio clip that we have, its called exhaustion.

shit i swore it said exhaustion. but my dvd says new song as well. i thought there was a change between the different pressings. oh well.
