when i saw the two of them at fake problems he was kinda dancing with her in the parking lot. and at one point some kid came up to me and was like "are we in naples? we're in naples, right?" and heather and i gave each other the awkward acknowledging look of "wtf is wrong with this kid?"

I didn't know until I joined the board, which is weird because I saw a picture of them together and I knew who Tom was and who Heather was, I just didn't put two and two together. D'oh.

Yep. & Matt Skiba's side band Heavens has a song about her titled "Heather," haha.

Fun fact: Against Me! doesn't play with Alkaline Trio anymore because Andrew got into a fight with Alkaline Trio's tour manager.

...that and Alkaline Trio is one of the worst live bands I have ever seen.

anywho, Alkaline Trio is one of 3 shows that I have walked out of:

1. Guttermouth, the lead singer yelled "anyone here do pills?" 'and then he had people just throw pills on stage, he grabbed a few and swallowed them! I had no interest sticking around and watching this retard go to the hospital

2. Dispatch, my first non punk concert... I thought the show lacked energy so I was bored and I decided I would rather go to a sports bar down the street.

3. Alkaline Trio... ZERO eneregy... they just stood there... it could have been mannequins for all I could tell... they sucked.

Actually, that kind of sounds like it would be a fun show. I'm going to start carrying extra-strength sleeping pills and laxatives around next time Guttermouth is in town. Now THAT would be a hell of a show.

On a somewhat related topic, MSI (who suck) were playing in town recently, and the SELLING POINT of the concert was that the lead singer often pisses on the audience. Knowing that in advance, would you pay the 25$ to go get peed on?

(MSI also sucks, did I mention that?)

Mindless Self Indulgence is the center of probably 40% of the jokes we make at work. 311 receives probably 45%. The remaining 15% is a mix.

Eh... can't he get arrested for peeing on the crowd?

it makes me sad that he's "taken" not that i had a chance or whatever but someone as awesome as tom deserves an equally awesome partner in crime.

& Heather is as equally awesome as Tom. I love Heather, I'm such a stalker fan of hers. Whenever I see her at a show or something I get so stoked, haha. She's the best.
