Rugby on the other hand... That shit's got pop. <3 American Football is a lot more tactical rather than just action. That's probably why you find it boring. I'm not much of a fan either I occasionally watch rugby and it's because I've seen English football crumble into the non-physical, cheating, simulating, celebrity, game it is today and when I watch Rugby I see a bit more passion and people playing with their hearts rather than for their wallets

| Exactly, that's why I love Rugby. It's more about the spirit and the game than the cameras and the money.
I disagree though, American Football seems no more tactical to me than any other game; although it may be more difficult to read your opponents' next move.

| I see it as tactical because each play has to be thought out and it's a set of plays rather than 45 minutes. I'm not much of a fan of AF though | |

| MAAAAAAAAAAARRRRRRRRYYYYYYYYYYY.
But yeah, I have sort of been drawn to AF due to the high level of tactics involved. The plays and analysis etc. just seems cool to me.
Guess it's just because it's something different after watching football for so long.

The actual game wasn't go great... the extra time was immense though. Ho ho ho... RFC winning on penalties... I didn't think they were gonna do it considering how cocky Fiorentina were being during the penalties, chuffed they got through but kinda flukey I think. Final should be interesting!

Rugby on the other hand... That shit's got pop. <3 I would have agreed until I saw the last Super Bowl on the BBC. No ads and the breaks in play were used to explain what the fuck was going on. I must say I did enjoy it. However, Munster man here so I will endorse the gist of your sentiment. (On topic: I'm not talking about football until Gareth Barry signs a new deal. Hurts too much.)

| What?
United SHAT on Chelsea in the first half, it could easily have been 3-0 by 40 minutes. Chelsea played well in the second but after that mess ending with drogface getting sent off it put a real downer on the whole game.
And you gotta admit, Van Der Saar was brilliant in the penalties. Hands to two and saved a third? Out of seven? What a legend.

| Anelka' penalty was fucking terrible, and Drogba 100% deserved to be sent off, punch or not, you don't raise hands.
Terry holding Vidic back was brilliant though, if he didn't chances are Vidic would have been sent off aswell and a bigger brawl started.

| Yeah, I agree completely with you about the fight and stuff, Terry is a legend in his own way and Drogface deserved that completely. It was just totally unnecessary from both teams. | |

| So tomorrow night is England's qualifier away to Croatia and I'm really looking forward to it. I know, I know, it's England so I'm bound to be disappointed but I think I might be able to see the shoots of recovery starting to poke through for us. I didn't think that the Andorra game was as bad as sections of the press made out, sure some aspects of it weren't great but Andorra have only conceded An average of just under 2.5 goals in their last 12 competitive home games, so given that England have played them twice in 18 months and scored 5 I was fairly pleased with the result. I would like to see Rooney play in between the posts a bit more, but I really think he needs Michael Owen along side him because they're so different that they can pull players all over the pitch, creating space for each other with their different attributes. And I think Beckham should come in for Walcott. Theo did well in patches on Saturday but didn't stand up to the physical aspect of the game too well. Beckham is that bit more solid and has big game experience so should start, as should Joe Cole. Anybody got any thoughts on tomorrow's games?
Also, I can't wait for Saturday to go to Newcastle with City. They're in turmoil at the moment and I really fancy us to get a result. Geovanni to score a spectacular winner I think,
