I'm terrible at introducing myself, so I'll do my best here.

I'm a trans person (agender, but I still have dysphoria and wish to go on HRT someday because I want a femme appearance) and pretty much became a fan of Against Me! solely because of Laura Jane Grace. I'd probably heard a song or two off of New Wave many years ago but I wasn't really listening to that type of music at the time so I passed it up.

I'm a relatively new fan also; I didn't really start listening to AM! until several weeks ago actually. But... the TDB album really got to me on a deep level. "True Trans Soul Rebel" and "Black Me Out" are pretty much my two favorite songs in the whole world right now and I can't get enough of them. Hopefully AM! comes to Phoenix soon, I'd love to see them live and I'd love to meet Laura as well.

By the way my screen name says Cassie Star but you can just call me Star (there are several names I like to be called... long story; Star being the one I like the most but it doesn't really work as a first name on a legal document I don't think). When I get to that point my full name would most likely be Cassie Amber Star.

So... yeah. There's my story.
