I somehow feel punk even though I'm probably not what most people would consider one. However, everytime I walk by the punks with red mohawks and leather jackets in front of the central station I feel like I'm still one of them. On the other hand I'm quite sure that we don't have very much in common except for the fact that I also like to listen Knochenfabrik.

I support the GOP. I hate nonconformity for the sake of nonconformity. I don't actively support any social programs. I think everything should be up to the states and local government. #punksforromney

I think punk is thinking for yourself and not letting others tell what to think or feel or say.

I'm straight edge, so yeah, in a weird way, I guess I am punk considering it originated as a punk movement.

But know that if Romney is elected, progress made since 2009 will be reversed. Nothing much may have been achieved with Obama but there has undoubtedly been progress towards progress. And Obama is CERTAINLY the lesser of two evils here. Romney is an overtly religious liar. And don't even get me started on Ryan.

It's not even my election, but the US has the most power when it comes to wars involving the UK (soon to be just the K) and it affects me too.

It's so telling in the debates what the right side is. Romney's head is stuck in the past. Didn't he evade draft for Nam? Which is fair enough if you're a pacifist a la Carl Wilson, but not if you're an elitist who's been sheltered from the rest of society.

The thought of Romney in the Whitehouse, the image I have in my head, is terrifying.

Obama is so much more eloquent and well-presented than Romney.

I'm worried that people are going to vote based on Obama's shortcomings and (perceived) broken promises. Would you REALLY take Romney over Obama? Honestly?

But even when it boils down to the important point to remember (the policies rather than the candidates), the Democrats SURELY surpass the GOP.

Since I've posted that one post it's been straight up blasted down. Like I can't even support a candidate without most of the punk community putting me on blast

Also realistically conservatism is closer to anarchy than liberalism. Not saying I agree with most of what the GOP says but I have to support somebody right? And I actually like the Mormons they are consistently awesome people.

Agree completely. But I don't vote at all based off of social issues because realistically absolutely nothing has changed socially in like the past 30 years (laws wise)

Gosh everything is so extremist. I generally support President Obama. I like that he seems to actually care about people. If the world had an endless supply of money I'd support him.

I didn't imply you were in that 90%. I actually meant people in the UK.

I wouldn't vote for someone who wonders why you can't open windows on airplanes.
