existentialism

In my mind, the obvious choice. But that doesn't mean I'm going to live my life mopey and depressed. It means I'm going to live my life like it's the only one I got.

You know nothing about existentialism if that's your conclusion on it.

I am so having an existential crisis.

I've always thought it's saying it's important to live your life your life by yourself and with yourself and it's just as important to maintain your freedom to choose what you do in your life. Also, your life and existence are completely unable to be explained.

It's kinda like solipsism in a way, at least to me, except it isn't at all.

I have a big book of existentialist essays by Sartre, but I haven't read any of them. I do like his short stories though.

well, I didn't exactly mean that existentialism means I'm going to live my life like it's the only one I got. I meant that from the idea of existentialism I decided to do that. Yea, I probably don't know too much about existentialism, but what I did learn from my grade 12 english class gave me a general idea.

I'm going to live my life like I may have another one, that way I'm not scared to do anything. So that thought that, this is probably not the best idea in the world doesn't stop me.

But I think that's pretty much the same thing...

I have no idea, I just burnt my eyeballs cooking pizza so... yeah existentialism much too deep for me.

Does it help my case any if I explain it was homemade in a pretty small oven? That kind of sits at like your chest?

Has no one ever opened the oven with their face in the direct path of the steam/heat and really close to that direct path?

My brother always does that. I mean, he doesn't burn his eyeballs but he always puts his face right up to the oven, opens the door, and acts really suprised at how hot it is. In the oven.

This reminds me of this BBC-show called Young, Dumb and Living Off Mum. This one guy opened the oven to get his pizza out and tried to get the plate out WITH HIS BARE HANDS.
