I remember he talked about possibly moving to Los Angeles. Heather wrote "finally settled after the cross country move! " back in October. I thought they had decided to move out of St. Augustine. Eh. Too much. I'm entering creeper mode.

This is becoming one of my favorite songs off the album. It has a special place since it was the opening song last time i saw them, and i thought it was awesome enough to dance too.

He said in an interview this song was about having some place to call home. With all the touring he does, and after moving to LA to have the baby, he just doesn't feel like he had that place, and everyone needs that place.

Whenever I listen to this song, I think that one of my head phones is broken at the beginning. Every time!

I'm pretty surprised that no one has commented on the fact that there are several lyrics in this song that are more than likely references to Laura's gender dysphoria. "You can forget your name and there's no need to apologize", "You can always change who you are", "I caught a glimpse of this life; it could be such a very good life", "The truth will tear your heart out"

I'm trans and transitioned about 8 years ago. Every time I listen to this song I am reminded of the time when I was in the process of accepting being who I am but had not yet worked up the courage to do something about it. I would daydream about running away to somewhere no one knew me or my name. A place I could just be me and start all over again without having to answer to anyone.

I haven't seen anything mention about this song being about Laura's gender dysphoria but I can hardly imagine it is not. To me it is absolutely spot on.

I just fell in love with this song again. I always liked it. But today I listened to it and was completely blown away!
