hello out there people,

this is my first forum post ever..never been part of a forum, so i'm learning as i go, please bear with me haha. i'm 21 and on first glance, you probably wouldn't expect me to listen avidly to am! but i have a confession...i am kind of a music whore and i listen to basically everything (but have a special place in my heart for punk rock, rock, alt rock).

anyways, i am sad to report that i am very recent am! fan (think new wave)...*hangs head in shame* ..but i really liked what i heard and now, i can't seem to stop listening to them. i've listened to all their albums but i think my favourite thus far is reinventing axl rose. song wise, loving 'those anarcho punks are mysterious'..i love when it's just the clapping and vocals. ..it's just something about it, gets me everytime (and it gets me frequently, i have 3 versions of it on my ipod).

i guess that's it...?

Don't worry, we don't look down on new fans here. I've only been into them for 18 months or so myself.

Reinventing is my favourite album too. It's rare that I can stick on a CD and listen to every track without wanting to skip one here and there, and that's one of the few albums that I love end to end.

Don't feel bad. I'm an old fan from the "Crime" days, and I'm totally digging on the new album (I'm in the minority that thinks "The Ocean" is their best work to date).

I do ask that you take your shoes off, though, as we just got new carpets put into the forum.

yeah, i usually jump around with my musical tastes really often, but am! seem to be sticking quite well...which is fantastic, and the reason why i joined the forum.
