Updates

I get excited when they do forum updates because I'm a nerd. But when they update it usually means it messes up existing things, but so far so good. I just wanted to tell you guys what it changed

1.If you aren't logged in now, there will be a popup that asks you to log in or register.
2.There is now a multi-quote button, you just click it if you want to quote that post, and you can go back pages and quote other posts. But you can't use the quick reply if you want to multi-quote.
3.There's some option for me to make a scrolling update. I don't know how much I'll use it, probably for fun to say stupid things.
4.In a thread that you started, you will see a 'Thanks' button by the bottom of people's posts. You can use that to 'thank' them for their post if you like it. I don't really get this update, but hey if you want to use it then it's there for you. If a message is 'thanked' it will turn yellow.
5.User profiles have been updated, you can now write messages on people's walls and see other features. To write something on their wall, just click new topic when you go to their profile.
6.You can now see everyone's avatar in the member list.

I'm totally going back to all the threads that I started and thanking everyone who posted in them.

I thanked Justin because he was first, and oh my gosh that yellow is bright.

Awww thank you! And is it supposed to be yellow? On my screen its blue....

I just changed it. It was hurting my eyes.

Yeah, I was about to say that there was one that I thanked, and it turned yellow, and then another that I thanked, and it turned blue. I was confused.

i like the scrolling ticker it looks classy

You should put anarchist jokes on the scrolling ticker.

Why can't anarchists draw straight lines? ...etc

i never spell absurd right. i love spelling it obserd and will continue to do so.

What does the reputation thing mean?

And how do you change people's points now? I think that changed cause I can't figure out how to do it anymore.

In each posts, if the feature is activated, small buttons to rate the post will be apparent. Each positive or negative rate can make you win or lose reputation points. I clicked the + next to your post and it made you gain a point and put a little green bar. I'm not sure where the point thing went..

lol, I just changed points to cool points because it sounded ..cooler.

But there are points, which are illustrated by the little bar and that I can no longer figure out how to change, and then cool points, and reputation. So, do the little arrows change cool points, points, or reputation?

I don't get it. I think I'm failing the IQ test.

Yeah I'm a little confused as to why you can't give or take away points now. I'm trying to get rid of the bar thing, but it won't let me. This is why updates can suck, but I'll figure it out.

Okay Justin and I figured out that our birthdays are a day behind in our profiles. Like, if I put June 26th in, it will display the 25th on my profile! Weird.

haha, I saw that too! I was like what, that's not my birthday! I don't understand that.
