More Gallery Space

So as of right now, our gallery is as full as it can get but I still have a bunch of pictures I could add to it. I was just wondering if you guys would like to have a gallery? I don't wanna buy extra space if you guys wouldn't even like having it. So just tell me what you think.

It's cool, I guess, but I'll never look at it more than once or twice.

Yea I kinda had the feeling that most people didn't really care about it. Maybe if we get more members it would be a cool thing.

yea i think i looked at it when i first joined and maybe one more time just a couple weeks ago.

i like it i thing an open gallery is good as it lets rair photos and stuff that you wouldnt get to see apart from obvious publicty shots and stuff...... the one with tom naked for one..... a tad bit much i think hahaha

How about use something like Flickr or something, for free space? There could be a stickied thread in the band area with a link to it, and people could post pictures in that thread to be added to it or something.

Oh yeah, that would be cool. Either members get to share the userid and pass for the flickr account, or we can submit photos to Lex who can run the flickr account.

But flickr has a limit too I'm pretty sure, it's like 100 MB a month which isn't very much.

Really? I've never used it. I'd say that if we were to use it, we'd have to keep the pass among the mods, or just you lex, since making it available publicly would leave us open to having it messed up by some bellend who has nothing better to do.

Yea, for a free account you get 100 MB a month which could be about 50-100 photos depending on the size of the image.

Photobucket just seems tacky to me, haha. I'm weird ..I like it to be all official, but maybe.

lol if it makes you feel better, i do some web stuff at my job and i tend to use bootleg, tacky photo hosting sites all the time (like photobucket or imageshack).

lots of official blogs use Imageshack

And also it just makes my hours of uploading photos to this gallery worthless, hahah. I don't really care, and photobucket has mass upload options which makes it nice.

I should honestly just change the gallery link to Lauren's photobucket.

Haha. I wouldn't use imageshack by the way as suggested above, I always find tinypic is much better and never seems to run slow, whereas imageshack has slow times cuz it's so popular :/

Alright, I just created a photobucket account. My lack of money has overpowered my need to feel professional. I'll start uploading some pictures later but it'll probably take a while.

Hahah, I have so many AM! pictures in my photobucket account, it's ridiculous. I actually used up all the space (1000 photos) so I had to make a second one..

If you want me to work on your photobucket account, I can do it, Lex. I like finding and uploading photos

Ah seriously, it only takes 1000 photos? Or just per folder?

I'm not sure, I have my regular photobucket album, and I made the Against Me! one a sub-album and it cut me off at 1000 photos. =\

Hm, well I checked and normal accounts are able to upload 10,000 photos. I could pay $25 and get 50,000 photos. So once I run out of space I'll just do that.
