Tom's NY Solo Show

bought my ticket a few minutes ago.

i don't have shit to do on Tuesdays. i might go to this.

fuck me! am not going then. i have a class once a week on thursday and am already going to miss 2 thursdays.

yeah, i'm skipping my thursday class. already told the teacher i have a "Family Affair."

i have decided to try and make it to the show. my class gets out at 3 so i could probably make it. only problem is i've never been to NYC in the 8 years i've lived here so thats a little nerve wrecking plus am pretty sure few of my freinds would want to tag along on a school night.

i might be able to give you a ride, but it all depends on what time the show starts. if we leave ballamore at 3, we won't get 'til NYC 'til 7, minimum. i was thinking about leaving at 1.

i'm originally from NYC. nothing to be nerve-wrecked about.

Where did you find out about this show? I'm 8 hours from NYC, but hoping there's some chance he'll come closer to me... I'm already making the trek down in a few weeks for the AM! show.

well i don't actully live in the city but the suburbs. Althoguh its right near 95. i think i just might skip that day then. Nov 20th is pretty close to the end of the semester. dont wanna wait too long so am going to buy a ticket and if i can't make it i won't go. Plus theres the chance your an axe murderer haha.

just got my tickets..my friend actually emailed tom asking where else this tour would go and mentioned something about mass. ... tom said he doesnt know yet where this tour is headed and said hes playing in CT on Nov 21...which is awesome! and thats closer to all you maryland people right?

Ok, seeing that Mischief Brew is on this bill too means I'm going. Somehow. I can take a bus in at 630 am and leave again at 1 am after the show.... now I just need the money. I WILL make it there.

I saw Emilyn Brodsky play at my school, which was pretty awesome since we never get any halfway decent bands here. I'd go support her just for making the trek up here... gotta return the favor.

Yeah, that's the problem with my friend that I went to the Webster Hall show with. She called out for that, and then for NOFX a few days later, and we always end up seeing her co-workers at bars after the shows so she gets in trouble.
I'm begging family members for early birthday money as we speak, if I manage to pull this off we should meet up.
