Hello, I'm Minty!

I'm 20 in a few months, live near Bristol in the U.K, sometimes play trumpet for ska-punk band Citizen Fish, and I love riding my bike and getting drunk.

My house is a 4 mile bike ride from my mates house / the pub...and it's pitch black because it's all country lanes.

I've had my fair share of bails, but I'm still alive.

I just walk to the pub. There are so many about that it's not so difficult. The tricky part is getting across the bridge over the North Saskatchewan River. One kilometre long, really, really, really high up. I managed to walk it blind drunk one night as I had missed the last train. Not the best experience ever, owing to no sense of equilibrium and a crippling fear of heights. Still, good times.

I used to bike home drunk all the time from this one girls house. Now I have a car, so I'm usually DD.

I usually skate board drunk.. I actually keep my skateboard in my truck at all times in case I go somewhere, get drunk and then wish to leave that place.. Skating drunk is funner because it's funnier and less painful when you eat your shit.. The negative is the next day when you can't move and you've got bloody scabs sticking to your bedsheets when you wake up..

Be careful. My brother was riding his bike drunk, hit a car and knocked the mirror off. He left a note but the guy is claiming to have never seen a note and now my brother is in court and is looking at thousands of dollars in legal fees. So steer clear of the cars if you can.

I've actually been hit by a 4x4 before, but it was in broad daylight and I was on the way to college. Totally my fault though, because I used to ride brakeless.

I also ran over a Badger a few months ago. I faceplanted the floor so hard, but I heard it run off so I didn't hurt it too bad. I was actually listening to New Wave at the time aswell.

Haha, aw. I've only ever ran over a squirrel before, but I felt fuckin awful about it and I cried a little.

Do you say cheers a lot? I have a friend in my recording class from the UK and he says 'Cheers!' It's cute. I think it's an overseas thing though, us Americans don't have cute words.

I never actually say Thanks or Thank You, I always say Cheers. I think we all do over here!

See here in the US I don't think it would work out.. "Cheers a lot Asshole!" Just doesn't sound right..
