Howdy

Hey everybody. I've been lurking here for a while, it's a great place to stay on top of AM stuff that you won't find on their site or anything. So yeah, I'm thankful for a site like this haha, and decided it's time to join.

Uhmm. I don't know how this introduction stuff all works, but I guess here's my story about how I got into Against Me!. I've been listening to Against Me! for about 5 years now, the first songs I heard were "Anarchist", "Walking", and "Anarcho punks". At that point I didn't really know much about SFAFC so I just listened to their older stuff until I realized they were a very active band. Then I got a hold of SFAFC and yeah. I was hooked from the beginning with "Anarchist" and especially "Walking". So from there, I just fell in love with their sound, I've seen them live twice and in September I'll be seeing them again for the third time.

So yeah, that's my AM story I guess.

Uhh. Recently I had a knee surgery, so I haven't been able to do much, but when I'm not being tied down with such things I like to skateboard every chance I get, and I race motocross often. Very often. About every weekend and I practice throughout the week. Because of the surgery and recovery time I'm not allowed to do anything super physically demanding until about November (which means snow, which means I can't do all the things I love to do in the summer, but at least I can snowboard I guess). I've just been eating up my time listening to music, playing video games, and watching TV since I can't do much. If anybody plays Medal of Honor: Allied Assault, let me know. I've been playing that game non stop and it seems the best way to kill time until I can get active again ahaha.

I'm pretty pumped on the "Extra Links" tab at the top now that I've joined haha.

And that's basically me in a few short paragraphs. If you have any questions, feel free to ask!

Haha thanks man! And thanks for the welcoming so far guys. I love Against Me! fans, they're always so nice and stuff, on the internet, at the shows, wherever. It's great, haha.

It just makes sense - the band is so nice to everyone, so of course the fans are the same.

Do you have a special connection with raccoons? Camping or as a pet? Or just like the Beatles song about Rocky?

Nah man. Just a name I've been using on numerous forums for a while now. Haha. Doesn't really have much to do with anything. Was kind of a joke that started with a friend while skateboarding.

I've never actually seen a raccoon up close. The closest I've been is driving past them on the side of the road

Welcome! Sorry to hear about your knee, I've had knee problems before and they're really the most painful and the worst. I hope you feel better soon! I'm glad you like the forum so far though.
