You guys, I'm not saying she's a genius, but I give her credit. I believe she writes her own tunes.

As for the Tim/Homme thing, marriage is a piece of paper, and if they weren't together anymore in spirit, I see no reason not to go for something you feel you need, even if that something is another person. Lots of people get hurt that way, but you can't always play by life's "rules."

nah nah, i like the distillers too. could care less who wrote the songs, she's got a pretty badass voice and it's fun and poppy.

i didnt really believe it am not really sure if i still do..

because the first two distillers records when they were together blow everything shes done since out of the water.. and it really is so similar to Tim Armstrongs writing style. then when they break up it all changes..
i didnt really dig the last distillers album and from what ive heard of spinnerette or whatever it didnt sound that great either.

but who knows..

I absolutely see the similarities between Tim's music with Rancid and the first two Distiller's albums. But seeing as she basically grew up with him, it's not difficult to assume she looked up to, or even imitated him. She is a master at imitation. If you listen to her early band Sourpuss? She's ripping off Hole you could almost mistake it for Hole.
Spinnerette I'm unsure of, but the Distiller's s/t and Coral Fang are brilliant. SSDH, I don't care for most times.

i mean, it's alright. seriously, no place in america is worth spending more than a few years in besides key west, IMO. everyone should drift from state to state.

And for the most part, I always thought Brody was ugly, which I thought made her punk as fuck, I loved it. Although that pic where she has blue hair is damn sexy. Maybe it's just the bright red lipstick and excessive cleavage that bothers me.


Oh, and I didn't put any effort into a segway.

Lex saw Brody at some show last December just hanging out, and I'm pretty sure she said that she's all "normal" looking now. Like her hair is just in a natural colored brown and she looked really natural and pretty.

Yea I saw her last year, she looked nice though. I think she'll always be pretty, one of those lucky people.
