Newcastle clearly has the superior accent to Manchester.

Hey and welcome. I'm interested, do folk in Manchester consider themselves northern? GMTV weather people are always on about how Manchester is oop north yet I always think it's a bit midlands really. I hail from that way on my dad's side though, so max respect.

were clearly northen,not midlands at all too far west and north really.
The geordie accent is also good, just not AS good haha

Naa, I was a man united fan for years but I had a legitimate excuse since my dad, his dad, and the rest of my family all supported 'em :p

These days I kinda follow the toon aye, but I'm not so massively into football. The toon are fucking laughably bad too, but since they're my local team nowadays I can't help but want 'em to win (which never seems to happen...). Same goes for Middlesbrough and Darlington too, which are my locals when I'm not at uni.

Still, whoever we support... we can all laugh at Leeds.

I just went to a grad party and talked to a bunch of old ladies from Ireland that talked like Mrs. Doubtfire.
