Hi everyone,
My name's Lauren. I'm 18 and I'm from Central CA. I work at Blockbuster and go to community college, majoring in Media Arts. I spend most of my time going to shows. The first time I saw AM! was actually with lex, the creator of this forum. Good times! I love AM!, they're easily my favorite band.

I went to Alvarez high until I moved away sophomore year. Not very good times either

Ohh. Did you go to elementary and middle school in Salinas too? I went to La Joya and Gavilan View. Man, you're lucky you got out! I can't wait to get away from this place. I've lived here ten years and it feels like the violence/crime is totally shooting through the roof now.

I went to santa rita and gavilan view. crazy stuff. You know, salinas isn't that bad compared to fresno and shit. I mean, I got attacked not too long ago, that never happened in salinas

Oh wow, we must have gone to Gavilan View together then? What a small world the internet is! Yeahh, I just don't feel safe here at all anymore. But I guess it's true that most of California has gone to shit.

My name is Chris
I moved to Chicago last year from southern virginia (place called Harrisonburg)
Started Listening to am! when my roomate at college (who was from gainesville) gave me the Crime EP (circa 2001)
I have seen am! more than a dozen times or so...best show either Chicago Thanksgiving Acoustic show (I know i keep bringing this up) or one of the times i saw them at Alley Katz in Richmond in like 2002/2003 (basically no stage, very cool.)
